There are so many ways to help!

  • Please pray for the children - for their spiritual growth, their safety, their health, and their ability to learn in challenging circumstances.
  • Please consider a financial gift to give children educational opportunities they otherwise would not have. Your donations enable more students to hear the Word of God!
  • Please help us spread the word in your church and in your community so that we increase the number of friends willing to help the children. Email [email protected] or use our contact form to request a presentation from a member of Branch Schools or informational materials.
  • Please sign up for our monthly e-newsletter to stay informed. Submit your information in our contact form and indicate you would like to be added to the list or use the subscription box on our home page.

Five Things to Remember When Travel to Haiti is Not Possible

Since 2018, we’ve been unable to visit our friends in Haiti due to a Level 4 Travel Advisory issued by the U.S. Department of State. While it is painful to miss our brothers and sisters in Haiti, we also have reasons to be deeply grateful - vital systems are in place to continue the flow of love and support to Haiti. As we wait, there are five things we can reflect on and do when travel to Haiti isn’t possible.

1.  Prayers: When a crisis, whether political unrest or a natural disaster, closes the door for travel to Haiti, we know the people of Haiti are suffering pain and disruption in their daily lives. Please pray that God eases their burdens and comforts them.

2.  Thankfulness: Though we can’t travel to Haiti, we know trusted people are there and working hard for the benefit of the children – a national pastor, confirmed orphanage directors, a school superintendent, faithful teachers, etc. We are tremendously thankful for them!

3.  Digital Communication: We’re blessed to be able to communicate online so we can stay updated on the current events, learn of emerging needs, and provide encouragement. The Branch Schools team in the U.S. is in regular communication with the directors in Haiti via WhatsApp.

4.  Financial Transfers: We have secure and reliable systems in place to wire funds to Haiti. In the current crises, the prices of food, charcoal for cooking, and other essentials often double or triple. God has led many friends to help, allowing Branch Schools to continue funding this vital ministry in Haiti.

5.  Patience: Haiti is a challenging place to live and work, but God has not forgotten His children there and we won’t either. We remain patient, persistent, and hopeful. The schools are equipping more than 1,000 children with the gospel and education that will sustain them their entire lives and help them make a positive impact on their community in the future.
